As the weather is starting to get wetter, a reminder to you that we will have a Westcoast Recess on most days.
This means students will go outside for recess and lunch everyday unless there are extreme circumstances. Please make sure that your child/children come dressed for the weather and have a change of clothes at the school in case it is needed.
This can include:
- Rain jacket/winter jacket
- Rain boots/ snow boots
- Umbrella
- Hat, gloves, scarf, etc.
It is important that students are exposed to this weather from a young age as it is the reality of living in a rain forest. We hope that they grow up to appreciate our natural environment and are confident to be outdoors for years to come
