On Friday October 18, student leadership would like to encourage students to wear a jersey or t-shirt with a sports team on it. It is a day that we can show our appreciation for sports. Thanks.
On Monday, October 7, 2024, the school photographer will be onsite taking individual photos of Lyndhurst Elementary staff and students.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is on September 30. 2023, but many know this as Orange Shirt Day.
September 30 is a day of awareness of the individual, family, and community intergenerational impacts of Indian Residential Schools.
Orange Shirt Day is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission residential school commemoration event held in Williams Lake, BC in 2013, and grew out of Phyllis (Jack) Webstad’s story, when she had her new orange shirt taken away on her first day of residential school at the Mission.
At Lyndhurst, we will be recognizing Orange Shirt Day on Friday, September 27, 2023. We encourage all Lyndhurst staff and students to wear something ORANGE to school on Friday, September 27.
