Jun 11 @ 11:00 am – 2:30 pm

On Tuesday June 11, 2024 Divisions 1 and 4 will be going to Rev’s Bowling Alley as part of the ‘Alternate Environments’ portion of the P.E. curriculum which states that students should, “develop, refine and apply fundamental movement skills in a variety of physical activities and environments (e.g. bowling).”

We will leave Lyndhurst Elementary School at approximately 11:00 am and return to the school around 2:30 pm, depending on the traffic. We will require parent drivers to help transport students to and from Rev’s Bowling Alley.

As part of the bowling package, students will get two hours of bowling, shoe rental and pizza to eat for lunch.  They are also encouraged to bring a water bottle.  Please complete the schoolcashonline.com form by Monday June 3, 2024.

Div 1, 2, 3 – Playland Field Trip
Jun 21 @ 9:15 am – 3:00 pm

We plan to finish off a fantastic year with a field trip to Playland on Friday June 21, 2024.  Students will leave Lyndhurst at approximately 9:20 am and will be returning to the school around 3:00 pm, depending on the traffic. We will require parent drivers to help transport students to and from Playland.

The Playland field trip is a go rain or shine.  Students need to dress appropriately for the day (sunscreen, hats, rain gear, lots of water and bag lunches/snacks).

Students are allowed to bring spending money if they wish, but they will be solely responsible for it. Playland uses cashless procedures on site for retail and food and beverage. It accepts credit/debit cards. If students bring cash, they may purchase a gift card at Playland and use it for food and games.

Please make the payment using SchoolCash Online by Friday June 7, 2024.  If you have any questions, please email Mr. Singh at Darcy.Singh@burnabyschools.ca.
