We are very excited about our Terry Fox Run this Friday, September 19th. Thank you very much to the parents who emailed to indicate they would join us for the run. We appreciate you helping out!
In order to meet the diverse needs of all of our students, we are making a slight change to our run location as follows:
* Division 1 (Mr. Singh’s class) and Division 2 (Mr. Lathigee’s class) will go to Stoney Creek Community School to participate in the Terry Fox Run. These 2 classes will leave Lyndhurst after lunch at 1:00pm and return to Lyndhurst by 3:00pm. If there are any parents who would like to join these 2 classes, please be at Lyndhurst by 1:00pm so that you may walk with them.
* Division 3 (Ms. Youssefi’s class), Division 4 (Ms. Nelson’s class), and Division 5 (Ms. Cheema’s class) will stay at Lyndhurst and participate in the Terry Fox Run on our gravel field behind the school. Our event will begin at 1:30pm in the gym with a short assembly followed by a warm up. The students in Divisions 3, 4, and 5 will then make their way outside to the gravel field to participate. If there are any parents who would like to join these 3 classes, please join us in the gym at 1:30pm.
Please make sure that your child/children dress appropriately for the weather on Friday and that they bring a water bottle. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the school.
