At the school we have recycling for paper and paper products, however we do not have the capability to recycle plastics and drink containers.
One of the ways that we are promoting responsible environmental habits is to make sure that everything that can be recycled, is recycled. Given our limitations at the school, we are asking everyone to please take plastic recycling from lunches and drink containers home to recycle.
We are starting to see items that can be recycled in the garbage and would like to remind everyone of the importance of making sure that these end up at recycling facilities rather than the garbage.
Please discuss this with your child/children and encourage them to bring home items that can be recycled from their lunch.
